We’re reaching out to our community — that’s you — because we need your help.
As Beep Doctors (BASICS Cumbria), we’re a team of volunteer doctors who respond to serious medical emergencies across the region. We give our time and skills to care for people in their most critical moments, but none of what we do would be possible without the support of the public.
We rely entirely on donations to keep going — no government funding, no shortcuts. Just people like you helping us help others.
Right now, we’re looking for volunteers to join us in small but important ways:
- Helping at local events and shows
- Placing collection tins in shops, cafés, pubs, and community centres
- Collecting the tins when they’re full
- Simply spreading the word about what we do
If you can spare even a small amount of time, it would make a huge difference. And if you run a business or have a public-facing location, placing a collection tin is an easy and powerful way to support life-saving work in your own community.
Every penny in every tin goes towards keeping our equipment running and getting our doctors to the scenes where they’re needed most.
